hitting a barrier...

ceramic life is going well...received an order for a new restaurant which needs to be completed by next year. gotta lot of time for that but not as much as it sounds. i need to work on school projects until mid december and i'm heading back home for my brothers wedding for a month starting mid january. start school again in march and ship said order by april. time management will be key here, but i've hired on a friend to help me finish this one off.

personal life...well that's another story but it's simple on the surface. let's just say i don't have one since i'm always in the studio. i'm hitting a level of frustration - the type where i'm glad i'll be going home to refuel up - because of the language barrier. my abilities in korean are sufficient to get me through the day and to keep up with conversation, but sometimes i would like to wax philosophy (something my professor said was ridiculous - but seriously i've got clay coming into my body here and leaving my body there...)

anyhooo...i suppose that the way the wheel works right

[i'm] whirling, swirling like always...

Fundraiser news...

that was a tough week and a half. i was rushing pieces and a result many didn't make the final cut. maybe some had hairline cracks maybe some just didn't look nice. anyhow, rushing pottery through the ceramic process is just not how it should be done. but i had to do what i had to do to get my stuff to the show on time.

the good news: it was a sell out!!! i couldn't believe it. this time i knew nobody there and nobody knew me. i'm glad that i was able to support the cause (equality of women judges in korea) and i suppose they were just as happy to support me!

whoohoo...
